What goes into a Belle Guitar?

At Belle Guitars we utilize a variety of premium material to build our instruments. From hand-selected tonewoods to high-quality hardware, each guitar is a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation.

Some favorites are Roasted Maple, and Rosewood for necks with Roasted Alder, Roasted Ash for the bodies. For hardware such as tuners and bridges Gotoh is our go to!

Powering these guitars are GGG pickups which are wound inhouse to 1950s and 1960s golden era guitar specs before being wired to premium CTS pots,CRL Switches and NOS vintage capacitors with Vintage spec cloth wire.

Coming in a wide variety of traditional and modern colours we even offer left handed versions of our guitars at no extra cost! At Belle Guitars our standard is hand crafted Custom shop quality that will keep you reaching for our guitars again and again.

Capstone

The Capstone is our version of a Californian double cut based on USA specifications and features our very own GGG pickups that are based on pre-1963 guitars. These pickups are wired with premium CTS potentiometers and vintage capacitors to give it a truly vintage vibe.

Currently, we offer the choice of Canadian Roasted Maple or Rosewood for our necks that we pair with a premium Alder or Ash body. Completing these guitars, we use Gotoh tuners and tremolo with nickel and chrome hardware.

Every one of our guitars is finished with Nitrocellulose lacquer before undergoing a multistep process to age it and give it that played in feeling just like it’s been played for the last 60 years.

To ensure the guitar plays as good as it looks, the frets and bone nut undergo a full Plek service that gives it that perfect final touch that will keep you reaching for it time and time again.

The Teg

The Teg named after the local area where Belle Guitars was founded is our version of a Californian single cut based on 1950s USA specifications and features our very own GGG pickups that are based on these late 1950s guitars.
