It is all in the feel

Every Belle guitar is built with precision and purpose — here’s what sets them apart.

Precision Meets Playability

Bodies and necks are CNC-cut for accuracy, then hand-shaped and refined for comfort before finishing. It’s not about tradition for tradition’s sake — it’s about using the right tools to get it right.

Crafted, Not Overbuilt

Thin-skin nitro finishes, torrefied woods when it matters, and a feel that’s fast and worn-in from the first chord. Built to be played, not polished.

Premium Where It Counts

Top-tier pickups, hardware, and electronics come standard. Every fretboard is PLEK’d individually for maximum accuracy and effortless playability.

The Necks

Every Belle neck starts with carefully selected maple — torrefied on Custom-tier builds for added stability and that played-in responsiveness. Necks are CNC-cut for consistency, but shaped by hand to blend edges, roll fretboards, and refine contours for a naturally broken-in feel.

The goal is a neck that disappears in the hand — smooth, comfortable, and ready to play. Shoulders are softened, transitions are refined, and just enough nitro is applied to let the neck feel fast, not sticky. The result is a neck that breathes, responds, and feels alive.

The PLEK Process

Every Belle guitar goes through an individual PLEK scan, fretboard planing and fret-leveling and crowning before it leaves the shop. This ensures your frets are precisely leveled under actual string tension, giving you low, buzz-free action and perfect intonation across the neck. Furthermore every nut is precisely measured and slotted to ensure strings fit perfectly.

A PLEK machine doesn’t replace the builder — it enhances every single aspect. Nothing matches what the PLEK can do for consistency and feel. It’s a detail that transforms a well-made neck into one that plays effortlessly and with total clarity.

The Bodies

Bodies are routed from lightweight, stable tonewoods such as torrefied Swedish pine, American alder, and American Ash. CNC cutting ensures dimensional accuracy, however nothing can compare to how hand-shaping refines each contour for a more organic, responsive feel.

Edges are softened, curves are adjusted, and every body is finished in thin-skin nitrocellulose to allow the wood to breathe and age naturally. The goal isn’t to replicate vintage specs — it’s to build instruments that feel resonant, responsive, and most importantly comfortable Instruments that are ready to play for a lifetime.

The Hardware

Every Belle guitar is assembled with premium components: CTS pots, Switchcraft jacks, and high-end pickups from trusted names like Lundgren. Hardware from Schaller and Gotoh is selected for stability, feel, and long-term performance.

Each part is chosen to complement the overall build, enhancing both tone and function. Nothing is added for show — only parts that contribute to reliability, playability, and the instrument’s sonic potential.
