Built without compromise. So it feels just right.
The Custom Series is Belle Guitars’ flagship for serious musicians who demand the best. Crafted entirely in Europe from select premium tonewoods, each guitar is hand-refined, finished in ultra-thin nitro, and PLEK’d for flawless playability.
A curated menu of upgrade options lets every Custom be tailored for its player. Designed to be played hard, heard clearly, and felt deeply, these guitars excel in the studio, on tour, or anywhere great music happens.

Neck
The Custom Series necks are built for precision, beauty, and lasting comfort, offering a wide selection of profiles, with the most popular being the Soft 57V, 1965C, and Modern C. Players can choose from a standard 10–12″ radius for all-around versatility, as well as traditional or compound radius options. Every neck features a single-action heel-adjust truss rod.
Wood choices include torrefied Canadian maple or Indian rosewood, paired with fingerboards of matching AAA Indian rosewood. Each neck is crafted in Sweden, with rolled fretboard edges for a naturally played-in feel and a smooth, tapered headstock transition.
Upgrade options include stainless frets, binding, block inlays, and painted headstocks, allowing each instrument to be as striking as it is comfortable to play.

Body
The Custom Series body shapes — Teg, Capstone, and Offset — are crafted primarily from torrefied alder and ash, with select models available in non-torrefied ash. Every body is made entirely in Sweden, from rough shaping to final finishing. Hand-refined contouring and rounding provide exceptional comfort, with deep, flowing curves tailored to each model’s design. Torrefaction adds enhanced stability, reduced weight, and a rich, vintage-like resonance.
Custom Series models can be tailored with a variety of bridge configurations, from solid, sustain-rich hardtails to factory-installed tremolo or vibrato systems. Pickup configurations range from classic single-coil sets to versatile HSS, HH, or P90 layouts. These choices allow players to create an instrument that feels fully personal while retaining the signature Belle Guitars character.

Hardware
Every Custom Series guitar is fitted with the same high-quality Gotoh components trusted in the Workhorse line, chosen for their reliability and tonal consistency. Traditional tremolos are upgraded with Highwood contoured saddels for improved feel and stability, while single-cut models feature compensated saddles for enhanced intonation. The Custom Series also offers factory installation of Bigsby, Floyd Rose, or VegaTrem systems for players seeking specific performance and aesthetic options.
Locking vintage-style Gotoh tuners are available as an upgrade, providing modern tuning stability while preserving a classic appearance. Hardware is offered in nickel, chrome, or aged finishes, each carefully matched to the guitar’s overall look.

Finish
Custom Series guitars are finished in a thin nitrocellulose lacquer, allowing the wood to resonate freely and develop natural character as it ages. The color palette spans a wide range of solid, metallic, and patterned finishes — including classic paisley and floral designs.
Each instrument receives its own distinctive character, from ultra-light NOS to medium-light relic treatments. Hardware is subtly aged to complement the body, while fine checking and carefully placed wear patterns add to the authentic, played-in feel.

Electronics
All electronics are built entirely in-house, combining premium components with Lundgren Pickups as standard. While the Custom Series favors traditional configurations, it can be upgraded to suit a player’s specific requirements.
The wiring harness is assembled with CTS pots, CRL switches, Pure Tone jacks, and vintage Soviet capacitors, all using vintage-style cloth wiring. Capstone and JZ Offset models include a full aluminium shielding control plate as standard, ensuring a quiet, noise-free signal.

The PLEK
Every Custom Series guitar is individually PLEK’d to ensure flawless playability from the first fret to the last. Before fretting, the fingerboard is planed for perfect relief and radius. After fretting, ends are hand-dressed to remove any sharpness, and the bone nut and frets are leveled and crowned by the PLEK machine. A meticulous fret polish completes the process.
This is the final stage of Belle’s quality control — guaranteeing a professional setup and a playing feel that consistently exceeds its price point.
